Amanda Benson - Physical Therapist, PT, DPT, CMPT, OCS

Dr. Amanda Benson is a board certified orthopedic specialist (OCS) in physical therapy, who began practicing in Seattle in 2005. Amanda incorporates a hands-on treatment approach with her clients, utilizing her advanced certification in manual physical therapy (CMPT). Her special interests include rehabilitation of the spine, shoulder, knee and ankle. 

Amanda also specializes in pelvic health, including treatment for incontinence, pelvic pain, painful intercourse, pregnancy and postpartum treatment. Amanda engages people with compassion, taking time with each of her clients to listen to their unique concerns and tailor their treatment
plan to best meet their needs.

Amanda’s expertise and extensive experience help people with acute injuries, chronic pain, chronic conditions, and those who are pre- or post-surgical or have sustained injuries from motor vehicle collisions.  Amanda offers specialty services for running assessment.

Personal Interests

Outside the clinic Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and extended family. She has a big dog at home who is not quite ready for the clinic setting. Amanda enjoys cooking, traveling, camping, hiking, cycling, and has recently taken up pottery as a hobby.
