Physical Therapy
Our physical therapy sessions are 45 minutes long. Through extensive examination and rigorous evaluation, we provide a physical therapy diagnosis, which allows us to provide a targeted plan of care. Stride Physio achieves excellent outcomes by using an eclectic combination of techniques and tools, including:
- Advanced soft tissue techniques: Soft tissue mobilization, myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, trigger point release, tool assisted friction, deep tissue massage, manual lymphatic drainage, cupping massage, scar & adhesion release and mobilization.
- Joint mobilizations and manipulations: NAIOMT influenced joint mobilizations, mobilizations with movement (Mulligan), and functional mobilizations/manipulations. (IPA)
- Neuromuscular re-education: Posture corrections, balance training, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), stabilization training, release with awareness methods and taping techniques.
- Neuro-dynamic techniques: Mobilization of the peripheral nervous system using a combination of Shaklock and Butler techniques of glides and slides, and dural tension release techniques. (IPA)
