Christopher Rogers, PT, DPT– Physical Therapist
Chris has over 15 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy and enjoys treating a wide variety of patients and conditions. He believes there are many different approaches to rehabilitation and takes an individualized, eclectic approach to finding the treatment style that works best for each patient. His treatments combine hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, active listening, and patient education. Chris believes physical therapy is a collaborative process and that the therapist and patient should work together as a team toward meaningful, sustainable goals.
Chris is certified and endorsed in intramuscular dry needling and incorporates dry needling when appropriate as an additional tool to help address pain, mobility, and movement limitations.
Before graduate school, Chris studied history, anthropology, and evolution, which continues to influence the way he approaches physical therapy. He is interested in how the human body has adapted to a modern environment that can look very different from what we were historically built for - from sitting at a desk for long periods and walking on hard surfaces to spending hours on phones and computers. Chris believes that developing greater awareness of our bodies and movement patterns can be a powerful part of the rehabilitation process.
